Im building the railings from scratch.
Similar to conning tower railings- the kit parts are slightly too thick.
In order to make good, solid railings i purchesed 4 spools of copper wire from Maplin

Better than skinning old wires. ;-)
Im using 0,45mm copper wire, Dremel soldering torch, and Koki paste.Brackets for rope from brass sheet.

It differs from revell one slightly. Some bars are absent on the pictures of U-552.
